PUP-Exam Sessions

Math 2-to-3B PUP-Exams are offered Fall Week 0 and Week 10 each quarter. All PUP-Exams are taken in person on campus at the Triton Testing Center (TTC) located in the basement of the Applied Physics and Math (AP&M) building.

Students not enrolled in Math 2 must REQUEST ACCESS before they can reserve a session.
OSD Testing Accommodations: Send signed AFA letters to math-osd-liaison-g@ucsd.edu addressed to Holly Proudfoot.

Week 10 PUP-Exam Results

FALL Week 10 PUP-Exam results are processed on December 7.
Students will receive a message from mathtesting@ucsd.edu with information about their results.
Students who pass the PUP-Exam can book Math 3B (or add to a waitlist).
Students who do not pass the PUP-Exam can take (or retake) Math 2. They will need to take the PUP-Exam again until they pass to move forward in math.

Students with Math 3B Placement: No Place-Up-Exams (past Week 0) will be offered for students with Math 3B placement. Students move forward in math by passing Math 3B.
