Bring Your UCSD PID number and photo ID to the test.  Your results cannot be posted if you do not know your PID number.

Incoming Fall Freshmen and Transfer Students:

You do not need a reservation to take the test at any date or location; just show up at the scheduled time and place. It is often possible to take the test near your Orientation.The dates and locations of all current tests are shown below.

Continuing and Summer Session Students:

If you are a continuing student or wish to take a UCSD math course during Summer Session (Math 3C, Math 10A or 20A) which requires a placement test you may take the MPE at the times and locations shown below. You do not need a reservation; just show up at the scheduled time and place. You may see your results online or pick up the results at the Math Testing and Placement Office, Room 231 Literature Building during weekday working hours anytime after the day of the test.
